Fluffy Was Great!
His candor with the audience was great. The show was funny as usual. Talking Stick Resort you get 5 stars. The Nutcracker was out there more than 30 minutes past his scheduled time. We had front row section 101. We weren't too happy with the side seats we paid for. Also thought where our seats were there would be a big screen within viewing distance. There were a total of 3 big screens. We had front row section 101. We weren't going to be doing that all night long. If we turned almost completely around we could see the big screen. One in the middle at the back of the stage. One off to the left & one off to the right. We get 4 stars. Thought we would be a lot closer to the stage first off. Come on Talking Stick. You can afford to put up two more big screens.
The Breakers Tour review - NOT GREAT!
The Nutcracker, Kacey Musgraves and Midland were the 3 acts played.
I had to request earplugs from the ushers for the WAY too loud sound during Midland's performance.
Protecting my hearing, I'm NOT old!
The family sitting next to me with a young child didn't use earplugs during Kacey Musgraves' set, which had slightly better sound.
The Nutcracker had the MOST annoying and abusive strobe lights that pointed right into the crowd.
Many people had their eyes closed, and a hush came over everyone as complaints were heard and seen.
The music was fairly good when the strobes weren't used.
The use of a small stage in the middle of the venue was appreciated by concert goers in the lesser priced seats.
The Nutcracker didn't play enough of their own music and even opened with an Elton John song.
They also paid tribute to a few recently passed artists.
The concert started at 7:30 pm and LBT didn't get on stage until about 9:30 pm.
Overall, I was NOT thrilled with this concert.
